For sheet piling construction, we operate a Liebherr HS 842 crawler crane, equipped with a JM2-20 piling rig for sheets up to 20 metres in length. With this equipment it is possible to construct sheet piling at various angles.
The piling equipment may be operated from one of our Coupled-pontoons, to construct sheet piling with floating equipment.

Müsing operates fully road (or rail or ship) transportable Cutter Suction Dredgers.
This means that wherever a trailer can be transported, a CSD can be put to work. These
dredgers can also be operated away from the coast.
The small CSD can even be hoisted into the water, as a complete ready-to-work mounted dredger.
But even the medium-sized CSD can be transported as a number of standard container units.
Our CSD have class certificates for the areas for which they are designed. The small CSD
have certificates for all the European Inland Waters, while the medium-sized CSD have
a certificate for working up to 20 miles offshore.
All current safety regulations are respected and documented in health and safety
documents dedicated to the dredger type.

Müsing operates several water injection dredging vessels. Water injection dredging is a very economical and environmentally-friendly method of removing sediment from navigational channels or parts of rivers and/or deltas. Basically water injection dredging consists of bringing the sediment in suspension again, and then using the transport capacities of the natural water currents to move this suspension elsewhere. The water currents used for this transport may be tidal currents or the normal flow of a river. By suspending and transporting a certain mass several times, longer sediment transport distances can be achieved |

The water injection systems operated by Müsing are partly combined with the Hopper dredgers.
The TSHD “Ewald Müsing” and “Netti Müsing” both have built-on water injection bars.
It is therefore possible to use the hopper dredge-system and water injection dredging,
without double mobilisation costs, in one and the same project. |

As an autonomous water injection dredging unit, the “Yannick Müsing” works fully independently. |

Capital dredging is carried out by means of our Dipper Dredger “Krake” and a Spud Pontoon based Excavator type Liebherr 974. These excavators are used for dredging soils which are too solid for Suction dredgers or Hoppers. It is possible to dredge to depths of 15 m below water |

The dredged soils can be transported by the split hopper barges “Oostereems” and “Westereems”, or similar barges. |

Piling and construction of breakwaters can be carried out by crawler cranes on pontoons. We can place sheet piling at various angles in sheets up to 20 m. From one of our pontoons, these constructions can be made from the water. |

Rock dumping vessel Beta Müsing provides stone dumping facilities when breakwaters or dikes have to be constructed from the water. We are able to construct these objects on beaches and coastal areas. |
